Creating a temporary NavVis support admin user and sharing

If you are having an issue with your NavVis IVION Instance or one of your NavVis IVION Sites, the support team can get admin access to your instance to investigate. Sharing temporary admin access is recommended when filing a support ticket.

Procedure

Granting Temporary Access to NavVis Support

In certain situations, NavVis Support may request access credentials for your NavVis IVION Instance to investigate a specific issue or problem. As outlined in the video above, a temporary user can be created and shared with NavVis Support to facilitate this process.

To grant the NavVis Support Team access to your NavVis IVION instance follow these steps:

  1. Create a new user via the User Management feature with the following details:

    • User Name: NavVis_Support

    • E-Mail: support@navvis.com

    • Password: Please choose a strong password

  2. Share the new user details with NavVis Support. Your message should include:

    • IVION Instance URL

    • Site/Project information

    • User Name: NavVis_Support

    • Password (as chosen by you)

By following these steps, you enable the NavVis Support Team to efficiently diagnose and resolve any issues within your IVION instance.
