What is the NavVis Knowledge Base?

The NavVis Knowledge Base is a central repository that contains in-depth technical information about all NavVis products. Use this portal as your main source of information for topics like features, functions, troubleshooting, keeping up to date, community events, pod casts and much more!

The Top Banner of the knowledge base contains the following areas:

  • My Navis: If you  login (optional) and click My NavVis the your NavVis Company Account Dashboard will be displayed, here you can view relevant information regarding your Company Account, such as open and closed support cases.

  • Navvis Academy: This link goes to the NavVis Academy where you can take courses, interact with the NavVis community and more.

  • API Documentation: This link takes you to Navvis IVION API information.

  • Need Help: Need to contact the Navvis Support team,

  • RSS Feed: Get the latest information about whatever you want using the RSS feed function,

  • What’s New notifications: Receive the notifications about the latest software releases

  • User Profile: If you have a password and a login, manage your profile here.

Resellers only: To log into the knowledge base go to the NavVis Portal and register and you will receive login credentials.

Ivy and the Knowledge Base

The quickest way to get information from the knowledge base is to ask Ivy. She answers questions quickly and effectively. When asking Ivy, use natural language as you would in a conversation, and be direct with complete sentences. She can also perform word searches for you.

The area underneath the main banner is where you will find the Quick-Links bar which will send you directly to the content further down the knowledge base page. Just below that is the NavVis IVION Changelog Drop Down Menu, where you will find information on the newest NavVis IVION release.

The Getting Started area of the knowledge base is a good place to begin if you are new to Navis and want to orientate your self with the products and solutions we offer.

On the right side are quick links to some of the most popular sections of the knowledge base and a brief video welcoming you to NavVis.

On the left side are links to the NavVis Academy where you can learn how to get started with some of our NavVis products.

The What’s New section is where you will find information on the latest NavVis news. Here we will show case our latest features, functions and events that you can attend.

The NavVis Community is where you can chat and network with other NavVis product users.

The Technical Blog is an area where you can learn about the some of the general topics of our industry.
