Procedure
Go to Data Processing > Processed Data.
Select the Dataset(s) you want to download.
Click the Download button.
Choose an output file and, if applicable, a data format.
Note: When multiple datasets are selected, quality reports are downloaded as individual files and it might take few minutes.
Output files
The following output files are available for download
Filtered point cloud: the filtered and smoothed point cloud.
Filtered point cloud in control points coordinate system: the filtered and smoothed point cloud in the coordinate system of the control points used during processing.
Panorama images (.zip): download panorama images.
Dataset archive (.nvd): an archive of the dataset, e.g. for backing up the data.
Control points log (.log):
Alignment log: the log file generated during the alignment stage of post-processing.
Optimization log: the log file generated during the optimization stage of post-processing.
Verification log: the log file generated during the verification stage of post-processing.
Surveyed control points (.csv): the file uploaded during configuring new processing task.
Raw point cloud (NavVis M6 only): the filtered but unsmoothed point cloud.
Raw point cloud in control points coordinate system (NavVis M6 only): the filtered but unsmoothed point cloud in the coordinate system of the control points used during processing.
Quality Report: View detailed information about the dataset.
Data formats
If you download a Point cloud file, you can also choose a data format. The following data formats are available:
.e57
.ply
Note: If you enabled the option Include panoramas in .e57 point cloud in the processing settings, the .e57 files contain unstructured point clouds and panorama images in a spherical representation. These files are compatible with the following third-party software:
Leica Cyclone 3DR Viewer
Cloud Compare
AVEVA
Prevu3D
PTC
Quality Report
Summary: Dataset capture and processed details including processing time, device serial and software version.
Processing settings: Dataset processing details including panorama settings, surveyed control points usage and coordinate system information.
Xray Maps: Floor plans that provide detailed insights into environments to visualize the structure and layout of buildings, including the distribution of rooms, corridors, and other spaces.
Quality Maps: The quality map illustrates the mapping quality by displaying the trajectory estimate, capture locations, and representing point cloud density through various shades of blue before and after processing.
Control Point Details:
Alignment residuals: Alignment residuals refer to the discrepancies between estimated and surveyed control point positions.
Optimization residuals: Optimization residuals denote the deviation in the trajectory of estimated vs. surveyed control point positions after all optimization steps inside SLAM have completed.
