ting After a slot for your NavVis Cloud Instance has been created, you can setup the instance.

  1. Go to NavVis.Support.com

  2. Navigate to MY NAVVIS and select NAVIS CLOUD INSTANCES.

  3. Sign in with your user credentials (same as the Support Portal login).

  4. Your booked instances are then displayed. Click Activate to begin the activation process for your instance.

  5. A screen is displayed showing the configuration settings of the instance.

  6. Enter the applicable data in the fields:

    • Instance name: Describes the name of your instance. This can be changed afterwards.

      Example: Company XXX IVION

      Instance link: Sets the URL where your instance can be accessed.

      Caution: This URL cannot be adjusted afterwards so make sure it is exactly how you want it.

      Note: Here we recommend a generic URL that contains, for example, the company name.

  7. From the drop-down menu select Public or Private, if you select Private, you also must enter in a password.

  8. Select your geographic location.

  9. Click Activate Instance.
    The instance takes several minutes to activate. Once the instance is activated, you will receive an email (please also check your spam folder). In this e-mail, you will receive a login with the username "admin" and a randomly generated password.

  10. When you log in to your instance for the first time, you will be asked to create a new password. Once you have set the new password, you will get access to your instance.
