Prerequisite
Ensure that the NavVis MLX has been setup correctly, refer to the documentation in the Shipping Case or here.
Procedure
Make sure the device is placed on a level surface such as the ground or a table.
Open the Back Cover and press the On/Off Button to power on.
Caution: Do not move the device during this step, this is because the inertial sensors inside the device are calibrating, and they are very sensitive to movement. If it is moved during startup, the screen will indicate the need for another calibration.
The NavVis system software launches automatically after the system initializes.
If this is the first time powering on the device, accept the license.
The screen will display the Home Screen and the device is ready for scanning.
