Camera lenses should be cleaned every time the device is removed from the Shipping Case or the Backpack. Before each scan make sure the lenses are dust-free and free from fingerprints.
If lenses are not clean, any panoramas captured during a scan will be blurry and might show unwanted light effects.Procedure
Remove dirt, dust, and water.
Use an air blower or soft-bristled brush to remove dust and dirt from the surface of the lens. If wet, gently dry the lens with a clean and dry microfiber cloth.Clean the lens.
Use a clean and dry Microfiber Cloth to clean the lens. Move it in a circular motion from the center of the lens.
Deep clean if necessary.
If the lens is still dirty, put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol on the Microfiber Cloth and clean the lens again. Do not apply cleaning fluid directly onto the surface of the lens.
Caution: Excessive cleaning may damage the anti-reflective coating.
