Uploading an Image

Article summary

To attach an image to a POI, tap on the camera icon.

Choose between uploading an image from the camera or the device's storage.

Tap anywhere outside the modal to dismiss it and return to the previous screen.

Adding an Image from the Camera

Note: The app needs permission to access your device's camera. If you have not yet set that permission, a dialogue will request you to do so. If it is not granted, no picture can be taken.

Aim your phone and tap the round button in the bottom center to take a photo.

Note: The camera provided by NavVis IVION Go only offers a simple image-capture feature.

Note: If you want to use advanced features (such as brightness control), we recommend taking a picture with the camera app of your choice and importing the image into NavVis IVION Go from the device storage.

Tap the Cancel (iOS) or the x (Android) button to exit.

Adding an Image from the Device Storage

Note: The app needs permission to access your device's camera. If you have not yet set that permission, a dialogue will request you to do so. If it is not granted, no picture can be used.

Select one or more images to be imported into NavVis IVION Go and add them to a specific POI. Follow the steps shown by your device.

Note: The device browser will only offer to import compatible images.
