The app will automatically prompt you to crop images. The flow differs for iOS and Android as follows.
Android
The image will appear in full-screen view.
Tap Use Photo on the bottom of the screen to use this view and crop.
Tap the Back button on the top left corner or the Retry button to return to the previous screen.
Tap the Edit button to edit the image.
When editing the image, you will have the option to:
Rotate the image counter-clockwise and clockwise by 90°.
Drag the corners or edges of the white line framing the image to crop it. Once a crop is set, you can also move the cropped areas with a tap-and-drag area in the middle of the crop.
Tap Reset on the top of the screen to reset all edits made in that session.
Tap Cancel to return to the main view.
Tap Save to save your changes.
iOS
The image will appear in the edit-image view.
Drag the corners or edges of the white line framing the image to crop it. Once a crop is set, you can also move the cropped areas with a tap-and-drag area in the middle of the crop.
You will find additional features in a button ribbon:
Retake: Go back to the previous view.
Rotate the image counter-clockwise and clockwise in steps of 90°.
Reset all edits you made in that session and return to the original state of the image.
Select a specific aspect ratio for your crop.
Note: If a crop ratio is set, dragging the white edges of the crop view will change the crop size rather than the ratio.
Done: Saves all changes and returns to the POI creation/editing screen.
If the image exceeds 960 pixels in width or height, you will be prompted to resize it before saving the image.
Note: The size of individual images will not impact the overall storage of your NavVis IVION Instance.
Note: Smaller files will load faster and could improve POI exploration when the internet connection speed is bad.
Images will be shown in individual lines below the description text. Tap the delete button to delete the image from the POI.
