Note: To update the NavVis system software you need a NavVis device license subscription.
You can update the System Software from the Help menu or the Settings menu.
Before you begin, connect the device to the internet via an Ethernet cable and using the Ethernet Port.
To update your device, perform the following procedure:
From the Home Screen, tap the Settings
icon.
Tap Check for updates.
If there is a new version available, the screen displays the following. Tap Update and restart.
The screen displays that it is downloading and installing the new version.
The following screen will be displayed. Click on Restart now, or the device will automatically restart after 5-seconds.
Note: If the software of the device is older than three months, a reminder message and notification badge (red dot over the Settings icon) displays on the screen. If you tap NOT NOW on the reminder message, the reminder message will close, but the notification badge will remain until you update the System Software.
