You can update the System Software from the Help menu or the Settings menu.
Note
To update the NavVis system software, you need a NavVis CLX license subscription.
Before you begin, connect the device to the internet. To connect via Wi-Fi, see How to Connect Your NavVis Device to Wi-Fi.
To check for updates and update your device:
From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon.
Tap System.
Tap Check for updates.
Wait while the system checks for updates.
If a new version is available, tap Update & restart.
Wait while the system installs the new version.
Wait a few seconds for the device to turn off, then press the on/off button again.
Note
If the device software is older than three months, a reminder message and a notification badge (a red dot over the Settings icon) appear on the screen. If you tap Not now on the reminder message, the message closes, but the notification badge stays until you update the NavVis CLX system software.
After the update, the system displays the version screen.
