Updating an Instance Automatically

We recommend using automatic updates so that your instance always has the latest version of the software. To set up automatic updates, use the following procedure.

Procedure

1. Using your admin credentials log into https://iv.navvis.com/.

2. Go to Instance Management > Instance Software Information.

3. Under Update Settings, select Update Automatically in the drop down menu.

   

4. Choose a convenient time for updates to run.

5. Click Save.

Updating an Instance Manually

If you selected I will manually update the instance in the Update Settings drop down menu, you will be notified when an update is available.

Procedure

1. Go to Instance Management > Instance Software Information.

2. Click Update Now.

   

3. Click Update Now in the pop up window.

   

4. Click OK.

   

5. Under Instance Software Information, you can see when you instance software is updating or up to date.
