The user interface (UI) is a touch screen that controls the features and functions of the device.
Home screen
The Home screen displays the following:
Battery status: The battery icon indicates the charge level of the battery (the battery indicator turns red when the battery capacity drops below 20%). A warning indicator (!) appears on the battery icon when it needs to be replaced. See Battery status for details.
Micro-SD status: The Micro-SD icon indicates how much storage space is available on the Micro-SD card, in percentage.
Wi-Fi: This is the Wi-Fi indicator and control icon.
Settings button: Tap here to adjust the system volume and camera settings, access log information, and more.
New: Tap here to create a new dataset (includes sensor calibration and dataset recording).
Datasets: Tap here to preview recorded datasets (see Previewing datasets).

Settings screen
You can change fundamental settings of the device from the settings screen.
The following settings are available from the screen:
Camera: Set the capture mode and auto trigger distance, and switch Gaussian Splatting on or off.
Sound: Set the system volume level.
Wi-Fi: Connect or disconnect the Wi-Fi.
System: View device version information, update the software, exit the NavVis environment, view logs, and more.
