Make edits in the draft version of a Site without them showing in the published version of the site. Once you have finished editing, aligning and managing data, you then publish the draft version. Any changes will then be included in the published version of the site. It is crucial to execute this operation during periods of low website traffic.
A draft version of the site is created when you click Site setup. After completing data management within the draft version, follow these steps to publish a draft site.
Click in the IVION Menu icon at the top of the screen.
The publishing options display at the bottom of the screen.
If you are ready to publish now, click Publish.
If you want to review the changes made to the site click View draft changes.
If you clicked View draft changes the following screen displays. This screen provides an insight into what changes were made, who made them, and allows for a thorough review before the draft is published.
Note: No changes can be made to any of the activity shown from this screen.
Click Cancel to bring you back to the publishing options.
Click Publish to confirm all changes and the site will become available.
Click Discard changes to delete all edits in the draft version.
Caution: Discarding a draft will delete all of the changes, and these changes cannot be restored.
Click Exit draft to stop the publishing process, the draft will not be published but it will be saved.
