Editing Datasets and Site Entities

The Datasets menu in NavVis IVION lists the Datasets and site entities in a Site. In the draft version of the site, you can edit datasets and site entities from the Datasets menu.

Renaming Datasets

Go to Site setup > Site Structure.
Filter the list to show only Datasets.
Place the curor over the dataset you want to rename and click the pencil icon.
Enter a new name for the dataset under Title.
Click Save.
Publish the site draft.

Managing Access Rights for a Dataset

Perform the following procedure to change view or edit rights for a Dataset.

Go to Site Setup > Site Structure.
Filter the list to show only Datasets.
Place the curor over the dataset you want to manage and click the pencil icon.
Click the View drop-down menu to change view access rights.
Click the Edit drop-down menu to change the edit access rights.
Click Save.
Publish the site draft.

Double click on the site entity you want to edit.
Click Edit.
Enter a new name for the site entity under Name.
