Editing Datasets and Site Entities

The Datasets menu in NavVis IVION lists the Datasets and site entities in a Site. In the draft version of the site, you can edit datasets and site entities from the Datasets menu.

Renaming Datasets

Go to Site Structure, on the top left corner next to the NavVis logo.
Filter the list to show only Datasets.
Place the cursor over the dataset you want to rename and click the pencil icon.
Enter a new name for the dataset under Title.
Click Save.
Publish the site draft.

Managing Access Rights for a Dataset

Perform the following procedure to change view or edit rights for a Dataset.

Go to Site Structure, on the top left corner, next to the NavVis logo.
Filter the list to show only Datasets.
Place the cursor over the dataset you want to manage and click the pencil icon.
Click the View drop-down menu to change view access rights.
Click the Edit drop-down menu to change the edit access rights.
Click Save.
Publish the site draft.

Go to Site Setup > Site Structure.
Double click on the site entity you want to edit.
Click Edit.
Enter a new name for the site entity under Name.
Click Save.
Publish the site draft.
