Editing Datasets and Site Entities

The Datasets menu in NavVis IVION lists the Datasets and site entities in a Site. In the draft version of the site, you can edit datasets and site entities from the Datasets menu.

Renaming Datasets

1. Go to Site setup > Datasets.

2. Filter the list to show only Datasets.
   

   

3. Place the curor over the dataset you want to rename and click the pencil icon.

   

4. Enter a new name for the dataset under Title.

   

5. Click Save.

6. Publish the site draft.

Managing Access Rights for a Dataset

Perform the following procedure to change view or edit rights for a Dataset.

1. Go to Site Setup​ > Datasets.

2. Filter the list to show only Datasets.

   

3. Place the curor over the dataset you want to manage and click the pencil icon.

   

4. Click the View drop-down menu to change view access rights.

   

5. Click the Edit drop-down menu to change the edit access rights.

   

6. Click Save.

7. Publish the site draft.
   

Renaming Site Entities

1. Go to Site Setup​ > Datasets.

2. Double click on the site entity you want to edit.

   

   
   

3. Click Edit.

   

4. Enter a new name for the site entity under Name.

   

5. Click Save.

6. Publish the site draft.
