Introduction

This guide explains how to disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on NavVis VLX and NavVis MLX devices. 

Scope

NavVis VLX, NavVis MLX devices

For easier navigation, connect a mouse via USB or access the device remotely using VNC.

Procedure

Before You Begin

The device opens in the Scanning UI by default. You must exit the Mapping UI to access system settings.

1. Exit the Scanning UI

1. Select the Settings icon in the top right corner.

2. Click Exit to exit the Scanning Application.

2. Disable the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

1. Click the network icon in the top-right system bar.

2. Select the Wifi or the Bluetooth options from here, as required.

3. To turn off the Wifi, review the settings and toggle the button Off.

4. To turn off the Bluetooth, review the settings and toggle the button Off.

3. Reopen the Scanning Application (Optional)

1. Click on the NavVis Scanning Application icon to reopen the application.
