Working with Datasets

In a Site, you can see all the Datasets with Site Model entities from the Datasets menu. Whether or not the dataset is selected also controls if the Point cloud of that dataset is visible in point cloud mode.

Procedure

1. In a site, from the left menu, select Datasets.

2. To navigate to a specific dataset, click the navigation icon next to it.

   

3. Click the filter icon to change the dataset view.

   

4. Click to view only Site entities, only Datasets or All to view both. 

   

5. Toggle on Currently in view, to change the dataset view depending on the camera’s position, your viewing direction, and the site model.

   

6. To sort datasets, click the up-and-down arrow icon and select how you want to sort the datasets.

   

7. To select or deselect a single dataset, switch to point cloud mode and click the eye icon next to the dataset.

   

8. To select or deselect all datasets in a floor or building, switch to point cloud mode and click the eye icon next to the floor or building name. Whether or not the dataset is selected also controls if the point cloud of that dataset is visible.
