Point cloud modes
After selecting datasets you can adjust the Point cloud settings with following processing modes:
Dynamic: In this mode you can select the resolution you want in the Point cloud resolution (mm) field and choose colorization of point cloud data by switching on the Colorized toggle switch.
Eco 20: A pre-set for large spaces where geometry is important. Point cloud data is processed at 20 mm resolution and standard panoramas.
Note: Standard panoramas retain their full resolution, but they are not as sharp as our highest quality panoramas available with Dynamic mode.
Eco 40: A pre-set for quick processing and basic assessment tasks. The point cloud data is processed at 40 mm resolution and panoramas are not processed.
Note: Eco 20 and Eco 40 processing modes are only available for datasets captured with NavVis VLX 3 and NavVis MLX (for Beta users).

Configure point cloud settings
The following point cloud settings are available:
High Confidence: In this mode only points with high confidence are retained and regions that have not been scanned densely are removed. This mode is recommended for narrow indoor environments or areas with reflective surfaces.
Standard: This mode is for general use and yields high-quality point clouds in a wide range of scenarios. This mode is recommended for larger indoor environments.
Outdoor: In this mode points from sparsely scanned areas are retained. This mode is recommended for outdoor environments.
Panorama Settings
The following panorama settings are available for data captured with NavVis VLX and NavVis MLX.

Floor filling: colorizes the device's blind spot where the operator is standing
Note: The floor filling toggle is on by default.

How many units does Eco mode cost per sqm?
Unit consumption depends on the device and processing mode. For the NavVis VLX 3: Dynamic = 25, Eco 20 = 15, and Eco 40 = 10 units per sqm. For the NavVis MLX: Dynamic = 15, Eco 20 = 10, and Eco 40 = 5 units per sqm.
How do I avoid spending processing units on panoramas?
Processing unit consumption depends on the processing mode (Dynamic, Eco 20, or Eco 40) and the device type. It doesn't depend on deleting photos from the raw data before you upload the dataset. To skip panorama processing entirely, select Eco 40 mode. Eco 40 is available for NavVis VLX 3 and NavVis MLX, and it doesn't process panoramas, so you don't spend units on them. If your dataset already includes panoramas, you can remove individual panoramas afterward. See Can I delete a panorama? for the steps.
