The Settings Screen enables you to change fundamental settings of the device.
The following settings are available::
Sound: Set the volume level of the device.
Quality Map: Enable the quality map to show different colors indicating scanning coverage of the ceiling, floor and full coverage.
Select language: Choose between English, Italian, Spanish, French, Danish, Dutch, and Japanese.
Wi-Fi: Turn On or Off the Wi-Fi setting.
Network: Select the Wi-Fi network.
NavVis System Software: Check for device software updates.
Advanced:
Automatic mapping restart
Display mode Display in full screen, maximized, or windowed mode.
Exit Application: Exit the device’s system software.
Camera Settings
Auto Trigger: If enabled, the cameras will trigger automatically once the mobile mapping system has moved by the minimum distance. Otherwise, the cameras do not capture images automatically, and you should do this manually. If the mobile mapping system is moving too fast, triggering will be delayed.
Auto Trigger Distance: Desired distance between capture locations (default: 0.6m).
Additional Settings

How do I access the settings on the NavVis VLX?

What is "Auto Trigger" in Camera Settings?
When Auto Trigger is enabled, the cameras automatically capture images after the device moves a minimum distance. If it's disabled, image capture must be done manually.
What happens if the device moves too fast during auto-triggering?
If the device is moving too fast, the camera trigger might be delayed.
