NavVis CLX Settings

You can change fundamental settings of the device from the settings screen.
Settings menu displaying options for Camera, Sound, Wi-Fi, and System features.

The following settings are available from the screen:

  • Camera: Choose settings for the cameras.

    • Capture mode: How the panoramas are captured. See Capturing Panoramas in Different Modes.
      Options for panorama capture mode: Manual, Auto, and Continuous settings available.

    • Trigger distance: The trigger distance between shots.
      Settings for auto trigger distance of cameras, adjustable between minus and plus values.

    • Gaussian Splatting: Switch on capturing splat data.
      Description of Gaussian Splatting feature and its automatic data capture functionality.

  • Sound: Adjust the sound volume of the device.

  • Wi-Fi: Switch the Wi-Fi on or off, and select a network.

  • System: Check for updates, view information about the device, or exit the NavVis system software.

      Section for finding basic tutorials to improve scanning techniques.

    • NavVis support information.
      Contact information for support including email, phone number, and operating hours.

    • Remote support: Let NavVis Support connect to the device.

    • Save logs: Save the internal system logs to help troubleshoot issues with NavVis Support.
