Managing Desktop Processing Licenses

Prerequisites
Using NavVis Desktop Processing software requires the following components:
NavVis Desktop Processing license
This license is tied to a specific device serial number and allows you to install NavVis Desktop Processing software locally.
You can use a single installation of the software to process data from all devices for which you own licenses. However, processing is limited to:
Device generations that are supported by the installed version. Specific device generations might have been declared obsolete and are no longer supported. Refer here to understand NavVis device lifecycles.
Processing data scanned with devices running on older or the same software versions as your installed Desktop Processing software version.
NavVis Desktop Processing updates
An update subscription is tied to a specific device serial number and allows you to update your Desktop Processing installation during this subscription's runtime.
Note: If you have multiple devices and update your workstation to the latest version, you will no longer be able to process data from devices that have an expired subscription for the dedicated Desktop Processing update.
View update subscriptions and access license files
Note: To view your account's licenses and subscriptions for NavVis Desktop Processing you must be signed in as an Account Administrator within the NavVis Portal.
Log in to the support portal.
Navigate to MY NAVVIS → Manage NavVis Desktop Processing Software Licenses
The following details of your licenses will be displayed:
Device serial number
Start Date of update subscription
End Date of update subscription
Credentials (Username and Password) of your device
Status Reason of your update subscription (Active/Expired)
License file for download
Managing licenses and updating subscriptions
Purchasing licenses and renewing update subscriptions for NavVis Desktop Processing is currently not available within the NavVis Portal and the product itself might not be available within your region.
