Important notes and timelines about NavVis M6 support
January 17th, 2023: The last version of M6 System Software v2.19.0 was released.
From 31st December 2024, NavVis M6 will no longer be supported by NavVis support or the service engineers.
Support will end for spare parts and accessories.
Support will end for repair and maintenance services, including device calibration at our NavVis HQ in Germany.
NavVis M6 Processing in NavVis IVION:
From 21st January 2025, NavVis IVION processing no longer supports NavVis M6 data processing. Please ensure all processed datasets are downloaded in January 2025 for safekeeping.
NavVis M6 Processing on Desktop:
On 21st January 2025, the last Desktop Processing SW version will be released that supports NavVis M6 data processing (v2.24.5).
From 22nd January 2025, new releases from our Desktop Processing Software repository will no longer support NavVis M6 processing. Please update your desktop processing software before this date.
From 28th January 2025, our Desktop Processing Software online repository will disable updates, also new installations for NavVis M6 will not be possible.
After the date shown above, no new features or updates will be released. This will include the system software of the NavVis M6 as well as the processing of NavVis M6 data (the desktop processing software and processing in the cloud).
The NavVis M6 software will still be fully functional. You will be able to continue to use your device indefinitely.
Self-service support will remain available through our NavVis Knowledge Base, where you will still find NavVis M6 documentation and troubleshooting articles.
