The tools are grouped in the topbar across the top of the screen and in the toolbar on the left of the screen. These are constantly displayed while you view a site. Depending on your access rights, you may not see all of the icons shown here.

Topbar (top of the screen):

Search: Search for rooms and POIs.
Site Structure: View the structure of buildings and scanned environments, refer to Site Structure for more information.
Edit site: Admins can work in the background changing the site until they are ready to publish.
Model management: Integrate BIM models and visualize them next to point clouds directly within NavVis IVION by importing IFC files.
Data processing: Work with data sets in NavVis cloud processing.
Share: Share and collaborate with colleagues and customers.
Settings: Hide images and edit the site location.
Account: View your account details and sign out.
Toolbar (left of the screen):

Mark & measure: Take measurements in a site.
POIs: View and work with the different POI types in the site.
Crop view: Change the view so you can crop it to focus on a specific area.
Crop & download: Crop parts of the site and download as point clouds or Orthophotos.
Validation tool: Compare a captured space against your reference model and see where the two differ.
View Controls (top centre):

3D / 2D toggle: Switch between the 3D view (point cloud or panorama) and the 2D map. Use the arrow on the 3D button to open the point cloud settings.
Data layers: Turn the visibility of scene layers on and off, such as panoramas, point cloud, 3D models, POIs, and measurements.
Scene settings: Toggle on and off to display cursor coordinates, marking & measuring data, or cropping area info.

What is the default view for users with access to multiple sites?
The default view is the All sites page, where you can search for a site and see your sites listed with their locations shown as pins on the map.
What can I do if I have access to only one site?
The site opens directly and you can navigate around it using the tools in the topbar at the top of the screen and the toolbar on the left.
What tools can I find on the screen?

Site refers to a complex of one or more buildings displayed in a NavVis IVION instance. For example, the Munich Airport would be one site. An instance can contain multiple sites. Each site consists of one or more datasets.
