Introduction
Problem description
The Navgraph doesn’t allow you to navigate from the start point to the destination, or the Routing is not correct.
Troubleshooting procedure
Checks
Check your Navgraph and see if any of the following situations happen:
There are nodes not properly connected. They may look like connected on a normal 2D view, but when you zoom in like below, they are disconnected.
Some nodes are much higher than the others. They typically have a discrepancy of more than 2 meters, and the software separates them into two floors.
In some parts the nodes are too scarce, you won't be able to navigate yourself to a POI that is too far away from the nearest node.
Corrections
For the above three possible causes, you can correct each one of them as follows:
Zoom in and properly connect each disconnected part.
Adjust the height of the nodes on the same floor to closer values, better within 1 meter.
Draw more nodes to increase the coverage, the best practice would be to create “meshes“, with triangle links.
