Introduction
Purpose
Sometimes, a control point was not properly scanned. In a NavVis Dataset, this control point can later be renamed or deleted if wanted.
Please make sure to note down the control point’s name and the time it was captured to identify it correctly when deleting!
You can also cross-check on the quality map of a dataset located here: /datasets_rec/<dataset_id>/qualitymap_rec.png
Scope
This solution applies to all NavVis datasets.
Procedure
Open /datasets_rec/<dataset_id>/anchor_poses_recorded/txt
and adapt/delete the specific line of the control point you want to delete.
We recommend to adapt the file in an Ubuntu/Linux-based system because other systems might add unwanted hidden symbols (eg. Windows newline) that might break post-processing.
