Follow these instructions to install the protective cap to the bottom laser scanner.
A collision may cause the protective cap to detach from the bottom laser scanner. Reinstall the cap immediately by following these instructions.
Note: We recommend having your NavVis VLX serviced after a collision.
How to attach the Laser Scanner Cap on the NavVis VLX 3
Align the cap with the pins in the NavVis VLX as shown here.
Press the cap firmly onto the NavVis VLX 3 and rotate until the logo is in the correct orientation.
