The secondary view is a small overview panel that appears in a corner of the screen while you explore a site. By default, it shows the 2D Map view in the bottom-right corner, helping you keep track of where you are. You can turn it on or off in the Scene settings panel.

The secondary view gives you an overview and context of where you are in the scanned site:
Click anywhere on the secondary view to move to the closest location to your click.
A blue dot shows your position, and a shaded cone shows the direction you are facing.
Use the mouse wheel to zoom the 2D Map view in and out.
As you move around in the main view, the 2D Map view updates to match.
Points of interest (POIs) in the site are shown on the map.
To swap the two views for making the 2D Map view the main view and the panorama or point cloud the secondary view, click the expand icon in the corner of the secondary view. Click it again to swap back.
2D View Layers
The 2D Map view can show four layers, each highlighting different information. Open the Layers panel from the arrow on the 2D button to switch between them.
The Standard layer shows the location of panoramas and POIs.
The Datasets layer shows the location and names of the datasets.
The Site entities layer shows the location and names of the Site Model entities.
The Scan data layer shows the scanning trajectory and control points.
