Appearance presets
The orthographic appearance presets are available only in Dataset alignment, Site model, and Point cloud cleaning modes.
Open the Orthographic appearance presets.

Select a preset. Each one applies the values below:
Preset | Opacity | Color style | Point size | Point shape |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Colored (default) | 1 | Full color | 0.3 | Square |
Single color | 0.3 | Single color | 0.3 | Square |
Elevation | 0.3 | Elevation | 0.3 | Square |
Normals filtering is on for the orthographic appearance. For the individual values, see Individual orthographic appearance settings.
Normals filtering applies rules such as: keep only points whose normals point upward (to extract floors, tabletops, and ground surfaces); remove points with chaotic or inconsistent normals (to reduce noise and outliers); or keep points within a normal-angle range (for example, within ±10° of vertical to isolate walls).
