NavVis VLX mapping fails with 'ERR_MSG_TOO_OLD' for both scanners

Issue description

The NavVis VLX fails with the following error messages shown on the screen (both at the same time):

ERR_LASER_HORIZ_VELODYNE_MSG_TOO_OLD, 
ERR_LASER_VERT_VELODYNE_MSG_TOO_OLD

This happens when you trigger the cameras frequently (every few seconds) panoramas while scanning (e.g. due to a trial run). The USB communication of the cameras is "spamming" all resources and the scanner’s messages accumulate enough delay to trigger the safe shutdown. Other sensors like IMU can also be shown in the logs additionally to not send messages anymore.

Scope

This solution applies to all NavVis VLX devices.

Troubleshooting procedure

Don't trigger the cameras as often (normal speed works fine, i.e. ~5-10s between panoramas).
