Our developers work hard to prevent bugs in NavVis IVION, but issues can occur. In such cases, sharing information from your browser's console is crucial for troubleshooting. Here's how to open your browser console and capture a screenshot for support:
Procedure
Opening the Developer Console
Google Chrome:
Press CTRL + SHIFT + J (Windows/Linux) or CMD + OPTION + J (Mac).
Alternatively, press F12 and select the Console tab.
Microsoft Edge:
Press F12 or CTRL + SHIFT + I (Windows).
Navigate to the Console tab.
Mozilla Firefox:
Use CTRL + SHIFT + K (Windows/Linux) or CMD + OPTION + K (Mac).
Navigate to the Console tab.
Safari:
Enable the Developer Menu (Safari > Preferences > Advanced > Show Develop menu).
Then press CMD + OPTION + C.
Opera:
Press CTRL + SHIFT + I and click the Console tab.
Taking a Screenshot:
Open the console as described above.
Resize the console window if necessary to display all relevant content.
Take a screenshot:
Windows: Press PrtScn or use the Snipping Tool.
Mac: Use CMD + SHIFT + 4 to capture a specific area.
Save the image.
Sharing the Screenshot:
Attach the screenshot to an email or share it with the support team as instructed.
