NavVis Desktop Processing software only supports the amd64 architecture and not the ARM architecture. Make sure the image you downloaded is marked with amd64: e.g. ubuntu-22.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso.
Installation tips
Creating a Bootable USB Drive
A USB drive with at least 12GB or more is required.
Partitioning and Types of Installation
Partitioning should correspond to step 6 of the official installation guideline.
This is an important step for a new Ubuntu OS installation. Depending on your own hardware setup, you can decide if the new Ubuntu 22.04 should be installed as:
A dual boot alongside Windows / another Ubuntu version.
On a new hard disk.
In a new partition that you can configure.
