# Control Point Stickers

Each control point sticker must meet the following criteria:

- It is marked clearly with a cross (defines the exact location).
- It has an ID that is unique within the mapping project.
- It is made of robust material, such as intended for outdoor use.

NavVis provides a PDF template for control point stickers with a numbered label **000.** The numbers can be changed by a printing supplier to sequential numbering (000, 001, 002, nnn…).

> **Note**: Stickers should be printed on robust sticker material. You can also design your own stickers, as long as it meets the above criteria.

> **Note**: Tags do not contain a clearly marked cross to define an exact location. These are incompatible with NavVis devices.
