When the amount of storage space has been exceeded, the screen shown below will display. Go to the **Home** page and select the site where you want to remove data. 2. Go to **Data Processing**. 3. Click **Processed Data**. 4. Check the corresponding box of the dataset you want to delete. 5. If you run out of cloud storage, a notification screen will display indicating that the storage space has been exceeded. #### Can I delete old datasets to free up storage space? Yes, removing old datasets and processed data can help free up additional storage space. #### What should I do before deleting any datasets? Before deleting datasets, ensure you have a backup ready, that the data has been successfully processed, and that you have moved the data to IVION. #### How do I remove processed data from a site? To remove processed data, go to the Home page, select the site, navigate to Data Processing, click Processed Data, check the dataset box, and then click Delete. #### Is it possible to delete uploaded datasets from a site? Yes, you can delete uploaded datasets by going to the Home page, selecting the site, navigating to Site Set-up, going to Dataset Management, checking the dataset box, and clicking Delete. #### If I delete datasets or processed data, can I still put my site back online? Yes. Deleting datasets or processed data removes those data files but does not delete your site. The site remains and you can republish it at any time. Only deleting the entire site permanently removes it and all associated data. See [Deleting a Site](/v1/docs/deleting-a-site) for more information. Site refers to a complex of one or more buildings displayed in a NavVis IVION instance. For example, the Munich Airport would be one site. An instance can contain multiple sites. Each site consists of one or more datasets. A NavVis IVION instance is a copy of the NavVis IVION software running on a hosting server. An instance has a database which contains the associated datasets, users, and more. That data is accessible via the instance URL. A dataset is a piece of a site, the result of a continuous recording with a NavVis mapping device or the result of an imported point cloud.
