# Published version vs Draft version

The management of data on a site can only be performed by a person with administration rights. The site administrator can work on a draft version of the site in the background, while other users work on a live (published) version of the same site. Multiple users can work in the published site at the same time, using the features and functions such as Mark and Measure and adding POIs.

A draft version of a site is created when you click **Site Setup**or during the site creation process. This allows you to add/edit data and perform a QC before publishing the changes to all users. Before you click the publish button, you will have the opportunity to view a full history of all the edits made to the site, refer to [Publishing a draft](/v1/docs/publishing-a-draft).

## Published Version

In the published version of the site, you can interact with the site data by:

- Viewing and navigating through the site
- Using and editing POI's
- Using the Mark & Measure tool
- Using Crop & Download

Users with the proper permission level also have access to the tools:

- Data Processing
- Download Bundles
- Task manager

## Draft Version

In the draft version of the site, you can manage and edit the site data and data permissions by:

- Viewing and navigating through the draft version of the site
- Editing Datasets
- Create, import, add, or delete bundles
- Editing custom model attributes
- Using site setup tools
- Managing settings
  - Hide images
  - Edit site location

Point Of Interest

Bundles, specifically referred to as Alignment Bundles in NavVis IVION, are collections of related datasets that have been grouped together after being aligned. The primary purpose of creating an alignment bundle is to save the relative locations of these datasets to each other, enabling coordinated management and use within the system

Represents a gateway for all user activities related to management of tasks. It is possible to submit a task, query a task about its status, and cancel a task.

A dataset is a piece of a site, the result of a continuous recording with a NavVis mapping device or the result of an imported point cloud. Datasets can contain panoramic images and point clouds.
