# Prerequisites

With NavVis IVION Processing and NavVis IVION Processing Enterprise, you can post-process your Datasets in a cloud-based environment within NavVis IVION.

## NavVis IVION Processing

- A NavVis IVION account.
- Data scanned with a NavVis VLX or NavVis MLX with a valid NavVis IVION Processing license. Contact your Customer Success Manager or NavVis Technical Support for details.
- Administrator rights to a NavVis IVION Instance or membership in a NavVis IVION user group with the *Data Manager* role.
- For NavVis MLX datasets to be processed with NavVis IVON Processing, the minimum version required for the instance is IVION 11.3.2

## NavVis IVION Processing Enterprise

- An active NavVis IVION Enterprise instance
- Data scanned with NavVis M6, NavVis VLX or NavVis MLX with a valid NavVis IVION Processing Enterprise license. Contact your Customer Success Manager or NavVis Technical Support for details.

Functionality that allows processing of data recorded by NavVis devices. Processing recorded datasets is necessary to be able to use the data in an application like NavVis IVION.

A dataset is a piece of a site, the result of a continuous recording with a NavVis mapping device or the result of an imported point cloud. Datasets can contain panoramic images and point clouds.

A NavVis IVION instance is a copy of the NavVis IVION software running on a hosting server. An instance has a database which contains the associated datasets, users, and more. That data is accessible via the instance URL.
