# Post-Processing fails with Unknown error (exit code: 2)

## Issue description

Post-processing fails directly after start-up with an Unknown error (exit code: 2).

### Scope

This solution applies to all versions of NavVis Desktop Processing

## Troubleshooting procedure

1. Check the Dataset path names for spaces (and potentially other non-standard symbols). Ubuntu terminal in combination with our software cannot handle such folder names.
2. Rename those folders, eg. by replacing the spaces with an underscore "_".

A dataset is a piece of a site, the result of a continuous recording with a NavVis mapping device or the result of an imported point cloud. Datasets can contain panoramic images and point clouds.
