# Panning and Orbiting in Point Cloud Mode

1. To pan in the Point cloud view, right-click and drag, or press **Shift**and drag.

1. To orbit around in the point in point cloud view, press **Ctrl/Cmd** and drag, or middle-click and drag.

A three-dimensional representation of an environment, made up of many points. A point is defined by x, y and z coordinates, and it may or may not contain RGB, an intensity value, and normals.
