# Main Menu Items

After you log in, the interface changes depending on whether you have access to one Site or multiple sites.

| If you have access to multiple sites, the default view is the NavVis IVION **Instance Dashboard**. From there you can see a list of the last visited sites, and those sites are displayed as blue pins on the map. ## Menu items

The menu items are displayed in the side bar menu on the left of the screen. This is a static menu that is constantly displayed when you are in Explore mode. Depending on your access rights, you may not see all of the menu icons shown here.

- **Search bar:** Search for rooms and POIs.
- **View:** From the View menu you can select what is displayed by turning on and off toggles, refer to Settings View for more information.
- **Site Structure:** View the structure of buildings and scanned environments, refer to Site Structure for more information.
- **POI Types:** View the different POI types in the site.
- **Share:** Share and collaborate with colleagues and customers
- **Mark and Measure:** Take measurements in a site.
- **Crop and Download:** Crop parts of the site and download as point clouds or Orthophotos.
- **Model Management:** Integrate BIM models and visualize them next to point clouds directly within NavVis IVION by importing IFC files.
- **Data Processing:** Work with data sets in NavVis cloud processing.
- **Settings:**Hide images and edit the site location.
- **Site setup:** Admins can work in the background changing the site until they are ready to publish.
- **Crop view (Right side):**Changes the view so you can crop the view to focus on a specific area.
- **Settings (Right side):**Toggle off/on to display cursor coordinates, marking & measuring data, or cropping area info.

If you have access to more than one site, go back to the **Instance Dashboard** by selecting Back to all sites from the top of the menu.

#### What is the default view for users with access to multiple sites?

The default view is the NavVis IVION Instance Dashboard, where you can see a list of the last visited sites displayed as blue pins on the map.

#### In Explore mode, what can I do if I have access to only one site?

You can navigate around the site and select menu items from the left side of the screen.

Site refers to a complex of one or more buildings displayed in a NavVis IVION instance. For example, the Munich Airport would be one site. An instance can contain multiple sites. Each site consists of one or more datasets.
