To be notified when we make software changes, improvements, and fixes, please subscribe to NavVis software release notifications [using this link](https://www.navvis.com/software-releases). Our release format is **major.minor.patch**, which means: - A major version increase will highlight changes that are not backwards-compatible. - Minor version updates will introduce new features. - Patch versions will be reserved for bug fixes and hotfixes. ## Version 12.1.4 Release Date: October 13th, 2026 **Improved** - Significantly reduced loading times when opening sites with a large number of datasets. - Added a Frontend API configuration option (`ui.logo.visible`) allowing custom integrations to hide the NavVis logo in the top bar while preserving essential navigation controls. - Orthographic projection is now available everywhere also to users without the point cloud permissions in Crop & Download. - E57 exports from Crop & Download now include coordinate system information, making them easier to use in georeferenced workflows. - Large bundles now unload significantly faster on sites using Hide Overlap. **Fixed** - This release includes important security fixes. We recommend that all customers update to this version. - Clicking on the map to navigate now reliably moves you to the closest panorama, resolving issues where clicks could jump to an unintended location or fail to navigate into a building when viewing a site from outdoors. - When working in split views, right- or middle-click dragging now continues to control the view where you started, even if the cursor moves into another view. - Date and time formatting now follow the conventions based on the selected language. - When creating or pasting measurements on mezzanine floors, the measurement now remains correctly assigned and visible on that floor rather than appearing on the floor above. - When selecting a category with a large number of POIs from search results, scrolling down now continuously loads the remaining POIs until all items in that category are displayed. - The magnifier now displays correctly when switching between Mark & Measure and Crop & Download. ## Version 12.1.3 Release Date: September 31st, 2026 **Improved** - Orthographic views in Explore mode, map view, dataset alignment mode and site model editor can now zoom in much further, with centimeter scale shown at high zoom levels. - The POI window can now be resized on touch-screen devices like mobile phones and tablets. Orthographic projection now renders the complete point cloud, consistent with other viewing modes. **Fixed** - Crop & Download now determines available export formats from the coordinate system's actual unit, so metric systems are no longer limited to RCS and LAS. - Search on mobile now keeps the keyboard open while the results update, and the page remains correctly positioned on screen. ## Version 12.1.2 Release Date: September 22 nd, 2026 **Improved** - Orthographic projection now renders the complete point cloud, consistent with other viewing modes. **Fixed** - Ortho photo exports using a Spatial Reference System now keep crop boxes top-down to ensure valid georeferencing. - Crop & Download now includes overlapping points when “Hide overlapping data” is turned off, matching the viewer. - Search now captures text correctly when typing quickly, including with Japanese input. - Measurements opened from share links or exported PDFs now appear at the correct viewpoint, including measurements on scans without panoramas. ## Version 12.1.1 Release Date: September 8 th, 2026 **Improved** - Uploads now include integrity checks to detect and retry uploading corrupted data during transfer. ## Version 12.1.0 Release Date: September 1st, 2026 **Fixed** - Top bar controls now remain accessible on mobile devices, even when site names are long and in limited spaces. - Dataset lists now refresh only once after applying or reverting Hide Overlap or deleting a dataset, avoiding unnecessary reloads. - Fixed the "Automatic activation" point-cloud toggle being incorrectly disabled while a crop box is active. - Measurement PDF exports now consistently include all visible point cloud, map, and panorama content. ## Version 12.0.1 Release Date: August 126th, 2026 **Fixed** - POI icons now render consistently across the site, so they no longer fail to appear on the map view. ## Version 12.0.0 Release Date: August 18th, 2026 **New** - The verification tool is now available in beta to verify the site data against a referenced model. - IVION's interface has been rebuilt around one continuous way of working, so tools stay available without switching modes or reloading the scene. If your Frontend API integration customizes the sidebar menu, review how to update your integrations for the new interface. - Gaussian Splatting Beta is open for signup. NavVis MLX customers can enroll to capture up to 15 minutes per scan and process it into immersive, photorealistic 3D reconstructions of their sites, viewable in IVION with built-in tools to measure distances and create points of interest. - Orthographic projection, now available in Explore view, enables distortion-free point cloud inspection, without needing Mark & Measure or Crop & Download. **Improved** - Refined Japanese translations throughout IVION for clearer, more consistent terminology across control points, cross-dataset alignment, hide overlap, Gaussian splatting, orthophoto, and processing usage labels. ## Version 11.12.6 Release Date: August 12th, 2026 **Fixed** - The pre-set crop box height in Crop & Download no longer varies with the camera zoom level, so floor slices tile correctly across multi-floor exports. - Improved support for various DXF vector map files and fixed issues with uploads. ## Version 11.12.5 Release Date: August 6th, 2026 **Fixed** - Custom site model entities nested under Room entities now appear correctly on the 2D map. ## Version 11.12.4 Release Date: July 28th, 2026 **Improved** - Sites with 1,000+ measurements now load reliably and stay smooth and responsive. **Fixed** - Panoramas imported from third-party E57 scans are now assigned to the correct floor, even when the scanner sits on an elevated surface. - Side panels in Embedded IVION now render correctly within the embedded window across all tools in IVION. ## Version 11.12.3 Release Date: July 21st, 2026 **Fixed** - Mark & Measure mode now shows dataset name labels on panoramas and includes the map layer selector, so you can switch between cloud map, trajectory, and site views. - IFC model uploads now show clear status updates at every stage of upload. ## Version 11.12.2 Release Date: July 14th, 2026 **Fixed** - Exported Orthophoto TIFF formats now render correctly in any supported coordinate system. - Exported E57 downloads with embedded panoramas now work reliably for BLK and other third-party datasets, giving you the full point cloud and imagery in one file. ## Version 11.12.1 Release Date: July 3rd, 2026 **Fixed** - Fixed an issue where Crop & Download in IVION exported point clouds in local coordinates instead of georeferenced coordinates when a Spatial Reference System was selected. ## Version 11.12.0 Release Date: July 1st, 2026 **New** - Download point clouds in ft-based imperial coordinate systems directly from IVION, eliminating manual conversion from your workflow. **Improved** - Enhanced overall platform stability with internal backend updates. **Fixed** - OpenID Connect (OIDC) SSO now requires identity providers to support PKCE (S256).
