# NavVis CLX Backpack

The backpack is located inside the shipping case. > Caution
> 
> - The backpack provides only minimal protection to the NavVis CLX. Use the backpack only to transport the device short distances.
> - Do not send the NavVis CLX for maintenance only in the backpack. For general shipping and transportation of the NavVis CLX, use the shipping case.
> - Make sure the device is dry before placing it in the backpack.
> - Remove the Li-ion battery from the device before storing the device in the backpack. This can lead to overheating and is a fire hazard.
> - Make sure the equipment is correctly placed in the designated slots and that the backpack is securely closed before lifting it, to prevent harm to you, those around you, or the device.
