# Make Content Public

The visibility of individual POIs, Bundles, or Datasets can be changed in the edit menu. In this way, specific content can be made public, or visible by the user group **Everyone.**

## Make a POI content public

1. Find the POI by searching for the POI name in the site search box.
2. ## Make an Alignment Bundle public

1. ## Make a Dataset Public

1. ## **Enabling or Disabling Private Mode**

Private mode restricts access to your instance. If private mode is enabled, all users need to log in to see any information in the instance. For newly created instances, private mode is turned on by default.

Disabling private mode allows all users to access public sites without logging in. To see private sites, you will still need to log in. To make a site public, click the [**Make site visible for everyone**](https://knowledge.navvis.com/docs/managing-user-groups#setting-the-lowest-user-group-for-a-site) toggle in the edit site menu.

1. Go to **Instance Settings** > **Instance Configuration** > **Instance Privacy**.
2. Check or uncheck the **Enable private mode** box.

Point Of Interest

Bundles, specifically referred to as Alignment Bundles in NavVis IVION, are collections of related datasets that have been grouped together after being aligned. The primary purpose of creating an alignment bundle is to save the relative locations of these datasets to each other, enabling coordinated management and use within the system

A dataset is a piece of a site, the result of a continuous recording with a NavVis mapping device or the result of an imported point cloud. Datasets can contain panoramic images and point clouds.

Site refers to a complex of one or more buildings displayed in a NavVis IVION instance. For example, the Munich Airport would be one site. An instance can contain multiple sites. Each site consists of one or more datasets.
