# Invalid signature of the calibration file 'sensor_frame.xml'

## Introduction

### Problem description

The calibration file `sensor_frame.xml` has an invalid signature. This usually happens when a file is opened or copied on windows.

### Scope

Applies to: NavVis M6 mapping data

## Troubleshooting procedure

1. Open the `rec sensor_frame.xml `file.
2. Check which trolley serial by looking in the file under <**Hardware**> <**Model>M6-0</Model**> <**Serial>M6-0-001</Serial**>.
3. Check the revision by looking under <**CalibrationInfo**> <**CalibrationInfo**> <**Name>rev3</Name**> <**ValidFrom>27/11/2016</ValidFrom**>.
4. Navigate to `/opt/NavVis/mapper/share/navvis_mapper/urdf/calibration` and search for `sensor_frame_serial_revision` (i.e. `sensor_frame_serial_M6-0-002_rev0.xml`).
5. Using a file comparison tool, check that the contents of sensor_frame in rec and the one you just found are the same, except for whitespace.
6. Copy and rename the sensor frame and signature to the rec of the failed Datasets.
7. Try processing again.

A dataset is a piece of a site, the result of a continuous recording with a NavVis mapping device or the result of an imported point cloud. Datasets can contain panoramic images and point clouds.
