# How to Set Up NavVis Remote Support from the device screen

It is often beneficial for the NavVis support team to remotely connect to your device for a deeper investigation and check-up if there is a software or hardware issue on your NavVis device.

This video shows you how to start a remote session from the screen of the device.

## Pre-requisites

Turn on your NavVis VLX and ensure that the device is connected to a stable network via ethernet, Wi-Fi, or hotspot.
