# How to change a NavVis IVION instance to Dark Mode

## Introduction

This procedure describes how to change IVION to Dark Mode.

### **1****Google Chrome**

1. Open Chrome browser and type “**chrome://flags**” into Chrome’s Omnibox and press Enter.
2. Search for **Dark Mode** in the search box at the top of the Experiments page.
3. Click the box to the right of **Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents** and select **Enabled**for the default setting.

4. Click **Relaunch** to relaunch Chrome. Chrome will close and relaunch all your open web pages. Be sure to save any content on those pages.

### **2****Microsoft Edge**

1. Open Microsoft Edge and type “**edge://flags/#enable-force-dark**” into the Omnibox and press Enter.
2. Navigate to the **Force Dark Mode** for Web Contents setting.
3. From the drop-down menu, select **Enabled.**
4. Then **Restart** the Edge browser.

> **Note:** These changes will turn all the internet pages that support "dark mode" to dark theme.

### **3****IVION**

1. Open your NavVis IVION Instance .
2. Select the Site that you want to change to **Dark Mode.**
3. Open **Settings** and the **Site Configuration.**
4. Scroll down the page to **Map Appearance/Base Map.**
5. Change the Map Tile URL to

6. Save the changes from the "save" button in the upper right corner.
7. Refresh your browser after completion.
