# How to allow my security firewall to allow uploads to NavVis Cloud

To keep their systems secure, some companies might use security measures, such as firewalls, to protect against vulnerabilities. These security measures can prevent uploads to the Servers. As a solution, you must whitelist the IP address range for NavVis Cloud. This way, your uploads work reliably even when such security measures are in place.

As NavVis Cloud uses AWS servers to host all NavVis IVION data, it is necessary to whitelist all AWS subnets for ELB, EC2, and S3 storages. This is because the IP addresses we use for our instances are dynamic. This [link](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/aws-ip-ranges.html) should help achieve this.
