# Editing a Site Location

This section describes how to move the location of your site. You can also check the settings of your site to determine if the Spatial Reference System matches the coordinates of your processed dataset, if not you can experience errors, for example Too far from site.

1. Open the **Site Setup** (enter Draft Mode).
2. Navigate to **Settings**> **Edit Site Location**.

4. Click**Show advanced settings.**The following screen is displayed where you can edit the following:

5. Click**Spatial reference system.**The following screen is displayed, click the drop-down menu and select the appropriate spatial reference system.

**Tip:** Use the z value of one of your survey control points when setting up the site location to define the position of the zero elevation line.
  - **Base point:** Longitude, Latitude, Z/Height.
  - **Rotation:**
    - Angle
    - rx, ry
