# Managing POI Type Groups

## Adding a POI Type Group

1. From the Site menu, select **POI Types**.

2. Click **+ Add group**.

3. In the **Add a new category group** dialog:

  1. Choose the language(s) for the POI type group name.
  2. Enter a name for the type group in the **Name**field.
  3. From the **View** and **Edit** drop-down menus, select which user groups can view and edit the POI type group.
4. Click **Save**.

## Editing a POI Type Group

1. Open the **POI Types** menu.

2. Place your mouse over the POI type group you want to edit and click the pencil icon next to it.

3. In the **Edit Category group** dialog, edit the attributes.

4. From the **View** and **Edit** drop-down menus, select the user groups that have permission to view and edit the POI category group. If you only want a specific group of users to see the group, you can select them from the drop-down menu. The default groups are Viewer, Editor or Admin, but you can create more groups to show or hide POIs. 5. Click **Save**.

## Deleting a POI Type Group

1. Open the **POI Types** menu.

2. Hover over the POI type group you want to delete and click the pencil icon next to it.

3. In the **Edit Category group** dialog, click **Delete**.

4. Confirm the deletion of the POI type group, the POI types in that group, and all the POIs of those types.
