# Correcting a wrong selection of belt hook size on the NavVis VLX 1/2 before processing

## Issue description

If you have selected a belt size in the UI of the NavVis VLX screen and proceeded to scan only to realize the wrong belt setting was selected, this can be corrected. No rescans are required.

> **Note:** This error must be corrected before post-processing.

## Scope

This procedure only applies to NavVis VLX 1 and 2. Belt selection in the NavVis VLX3 is automatic.

## Troubleshooting procedure

1. Go to the datasets_rec folder.
2. Select the specific dataset folder.
3. Open the file sensor_frame_dynamic.json with a standard text editor.
4. Change the belt size in the file to the one which you have actually used during scanning.
5. Change the code "hook": {"size": "XL"}
6. Save the file and continue with processing as usual.
