# Changelog

What's new, improved, and fixed in NavVis IVION Go.

Our release format is **major.minor.patch**, which means:

- A major version increase will highlight changes that are not backwards-compatible.
- Minor version updates will introduce new features.
- Patch versions will be reserved for bug fixes and hotfixes.

## Version 1.7.2

Release Date: June 8th, 2026

**Android:**

**New**

- When a site requires a newer version of the app, you'll now be prompted to update directly from the Play Store.

**Improved**

- Enterprise sign-in now opens in your device's browser instead of inside the app, keeping your credentials more secure.

**iOS:**

**New**

- When a site requires a newer version of the app, you'll now be prompted to update directly from the App Store.

**Improved**

- The scan button on the POI form now repositions neatly for longer descriptions instead of leaving an empty gap.

**Fixed**

- Search results now always match what you've fully typed, even when typing quickly or clearing the field.
- Fixed an issue that could close the app when opening a new site right after creating a POI.

- You can now search and filter POI categories when creating or editing a point of interest, making it easier to find the right category in long lists.

**Improved**

- NavVis IVION Go now displays only visible panoramas, excluding images hidden by Hide Overlap or point cloud cleanup.

- Fixed an issue where images attached to points of interest (POI) could appear offline after editing the POI.

**Android**

- Fixed an issue on Android where single sign-on (SSO) login could get stuck on a loading screen, preventing users from signing in.

## Version 1.7.0

- NavVis Professional and Enterprise only: IVION Go now supports connecting to a 360° camera to capture and upload images that are automatically positioned within a site.

**Improved**

- Improved POI description editing so the entire text area is tappable to open the keyboard.

**Fixed**

- Fixed an Android issue causing the password field to be partially hidden when adding a new instance.
- Addressed a stability issue in IVION Go related to some POIs without assigned site model floors.
