# Cannot Save Changes in Site Configuration

## Issue description

Usually, after modifying anything on the **Site Configuration** page, the **Save**button changes to blue so that the modification can be saved.

But in certain circumstances if you modify something on the page, the save button displays as inactive (greyed out). However the **Discard**button displays as normal.

It is not possible to save the modifications, such as changing a start view for example.

The issue is related to the "maximum map tile zoom level" setting. The limit of this setting at an instance level and site level are different.

- At the instance level the setting can be more than 30, depending on the map tile you use in the instance.
- At the site level, the setting needs to be less than 30, otherwise the **Save** button is blocked.

When creating a new site, this setting in the site by default takes the value from the instance, so if the instance setting is more than 30, than it would be the same value in the site, and this would will block the save function in the site configuration.

## Troubleshooting procedure

Change the "maximum map tile zoom level" to no more than 30, then the "save" function would be unblocked.

Site refers to a complex of one or more buildings displayed in a NavVis IVION instance. For example, the Munich Airport would be one site. An instance can contain multiple sites. Each site consists of one or more datasets.
